Diane Huh

Age: 23 born Gwang-Ju / lives Auckland

Diane has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician since moving to New Zealand in 2008. Her chamber group, the Korimako Trio, won the Royal Overseas League Chamber Competition. As a soloist, she was invited to perform with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra as a 2019 young soloist of the year. She won first prize in the National Concerto Competition, where she performed with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, as well as winning first prize in the Gala Soloist Competition at the University of Auckland. Diane received the 2019 Michael Hill International Violin Competition Emerging Artist Prize.
